Where are all of our pumpkin spice lovers? This Natural Peanut Butter recipe is for you!
Even if you aren’t the biggest fan of the classic PSL or pumpkin pie, you won’t regret fall-ing (hehe) for this peanut butter trick. While brainstorming what festive fall PB recipes I could make including pumpkin… the idea of PSP (pumpkin spice peanut butter) excitedly came to me. This spread is sooo easy to make with spices you likely already have in your pantry, and you can make as much or as little as you want! Instead of jarring it ourselves, we wanted to inspire you with a recipe to transform your Natural Peanut Butter into something a bit more seasonal.
The Recipe – DIY Pumpkin Spice Natural Peanut Butter
Cook Time: 5 min
Makes: 1 cup
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- ½ – 1 cup Natural Peanut Butter (depending on how flavourful you want it)
- ⅛ teaspoon tumeric (optional, but adds that nice golden colour)
Directions
- Scoop out your desired amount of Natural Peanut Butter in a bowl and collect your spices.
- Mix together thoroughly! While mixed, I added some tumeric for colour and extra antioxidants!
We can’t wait to spread a spoonful on toast, stir some in a latte or drizzle onto some warm apple cinnamon oatmeal on a frigid fall morning. What would you put this peanut butter on? Tell us, we would love to know and possibly make a feature recipe just for you!
